Mia Lerssi (1972) is a Danish independent visual artist and crafts woman, working in the expanded field of craft, art and design. In her work she looks for the aesthetic qualities of glass; as a visual material, as a concept, as form, as transparency and as eye candy. Especially material sensuality is the core of her work, and reflects on social structures and personal matters.
Mia has exhibited at various museums, events and art fairs for example Bornholms Kunstmuseum/Denmark, Glasmuseet Ebeltoft/Denmark, Glazen Huis Lommel/Belgium and Mindcraft-Danish Craft, Milano/Italy.
