When I opened Oe. I planned to produce the beautiful opal white glass lamp designed by Sander Boeijink. I spend hours with technical drawings, electrical matters and the big wooden mold made by mold makerJørgen Jørgensen in Holmegaard, Denmark.

”The mold itself is made from a Ø80 cm solid piece of wood. In 2019 we ran a test run with a factory in Småland, Sweden, but unfortunately, the design was too complicated for their expertise. We are still in search for the glass workshop where to do the next batch. As we aim high with this product, it takes time, expertise, dedication and finances. The prototype we have, is from Sanders first batch of lamps, that was produced the first time in 2011 for a functional art installation designed and executed by Grondvormen. Grondvormen consists of the three friends Nienke Sybrandy, Jeroen Wand and Sander Boeijink that studied together at the Sandberg Institute.”
